Letting go (guided meditation)

One of the hardest things in life that causes mental. physical and emotional stress is holding on to things which hurt us.

We seem to carry so many heavy stories of our hurts, pain, and fears.
We fight to hold on and we fight to let go, it feels like we need to carry on holding on.

The thing is, we are causing more pain by not letting go of how things should be, to what already hurt us, to what might happen.

Release attachments to how things should be and surrender to how they are.

We can’t make space for new happier stories whilst still reading the same chapters.

I created the ‘Letting Go’ meditation as a quick step into your pain stories. The meditation will guide you to rake up fallen leaves that represent past or present hurts. So, to help you even more, before you listen to the track, call out one or two pain stories you wish to let go of.

What’s one pain story you have today? Start with that.

What’s a pain story? It’s simply your repeated self-talk/worry that’s causing you pain.
