HERA – Nelson Women’s Collective

HERA is where women gather to be seen, heard, and supported. Not surface networking. Not crowds. Real connection. Real conversation. Real growth.
For over ten years, women in Nelson and beyond have come together to build stronger businesses, deeper friendships, or both, a life that feels truly theirs, surrounded by women who get it.
HERA is now operated voluntarily as a not-for-profit and is professionally managed.

We are a close-knit, intentional collective where collaboration replaces competition, presence replaces pressure, and nourishment replaces noise. Here, women celebrate each other, share stories, lift each other up, and grow together in life and business.

What You’ll Experience as a HERA Member:

-
Monthly gatherings and pow wows in Nelson and Stoke are designed to connect, inspire, and energise
-
Mini shops and member spotlights to showcase businesses, ideas, and creativity
-
Private member directory and online space to build connections before you even walk into the room
-
Thoughtful surprises, special offers, and a circle that supports both personal well-being and professional growth
Unlike other managed networking groups, HERA is intentionally affordable. The team runs it voluntarily, and the small membership subscription covers only the essentials. Any extra funds are reinvested into the collective to enhance gatherings and opportunities for members. The team works to promote the network, run events, invest in systems and promotions, and maintain a steady flow of new members for the good of all.
HERA is not about hustle or business cards. It’s about showing up for yourself, for each other, and discovering the real return of connection, courage, and collaboration.
If you are ready to build friendships, grow your business, or both, step in. Be seen. Be heard. Belong. Thrive.

Celebrate Ten Years of HERA
HERA celebrates ten amazing years of women rising together. To mark the milestone, we’re offerin annual memberships for Koha, a contribution that feels aligned for your season.

Koha is a way to join HERA affordably while supporting the collective. HERA has essential costs to run gatherings, systems, and events, but it is led entirely by volunteers.
Every part of the collective is run with heart, not for profit, so membership remains accessible, meaningful, and focused on connection, growth, and community.
